If it is obstructed, it should not be targettable. Plain and simple. It's abug, goof, oversight..whatever.

That's because it isn't a "bug" to fix.

Remember this game does not have a vertical axis so bridges can sometimes cause strange LOS effects.

Yes heroes can get target obstructed. Generally they move to a clearer view before and during attacking though.

No, it should be targetable. Otherwise, wow...add some extra tedium to the game.

Plus, several spells can be cast through obstruction. Pretty much anything that doesn't involve a flying projectile works like this.

Lord help me...I'm going to try and assume where the OP is coming from.

*wish me luck*

I've noticed- specifically with Nightfall, that some of the bridges (Kournan encampment ones) have given me the 'obstructed' error.

Yeah, it's not fun, but, all things considered, I never thought to write it down, or file a report with ANet.
There are just too many wonderful things about Nightfall to let that get in the way of my fun.

If hero's line of sight is obstructed, they will not move, you will have to nudge them so their sight is directed in a good angle.

yeah, maybe you should try re-reading your own posts, you said, "Also how is posible to have until now a so little storage? and still is litlle and the inventory too." thus, your still complaining about storage, which we got, and is no-longer small (you're gonna need all the campaigns though).

Well, I don't see a question mark there, but ok. Also, maybe you should take some of the 3 hours you play and test the things your wondering about.

Correct, but you're not going to ask your target to kindly not run behind a wall, corner, tree, tower, or any other obstructing structures while you try to kill them, now are they?

Well, yes depending on your calls and where you are, heros/henchies will not try to get around something to make attacks hit, plus, they are usually only as smart as the person controlling them anyways.

There are quite a few reasons to target something that is obstructed. As was mentioned before many spells do not require line of sight - no reason to make the Ele move when they are perfectly able to cast. There is a need to call targets that you can not attack, both in human groups and *especially* in hench/hero groups. And finally you can use it to initiate an attack from a distance and have your toon run towards the targets until in range (I use this many times to find a narrow path into an area).

Nor do I think you really want your guy *automatically* moving to where it isn't obstructed. I would bet after you start an attack and they automatically shift around and aggro another group resulting in a party wipe there will be tons of threads complaining. It is easy to get in trouble simply with the automatic pathing when you know it is going to happen, let alone when you do not know and they would simply shift, especially given that it can be quite a distance they need to move sometimes.
